Bug Description
I cannot draw a single line either on an existing 7000x4000px PNG or creating a new blank file with that size.
Os: Debian 9
Pinta 1.6
steps:
open a big PNG or create a new file of about 7000x7000 px and use line/curve tool.
Pinta takes almost 5 seconds to write that line.

I remember this was once a problem, but I am pretty sure this problem was fixed somewhere during 1.7-development. I tested it right now on Ubuntu 18.04 with Pinta-1. 7-latest- development- build and this problem does not appear anymore, but I am sure in Pinta 1.6 this was unbearable slow.
Can you test it on Pinta 1.7 latest development build: /www.pinta- project. com/releases/
