Bug Description

Hi,

I have been playing with blind vias in a BGA fanout example (see attachment).

You can actually draw traces on the bottom layer (underneat the blind vias) without connectivity messing up.

When exporting a png file for the bottom (L6) layer only, with other layers and silk screen, pads/pins and soldermask off, and the "only-visible" and "screen-layer-order" boxes ticked, you still get the projection of some blind vias from above, these vias should not be present in the png file of the bottom (L6) layer.

It looks like this is respected in the (L5) signal layer "above" the bottom (L6) layer.

Maybe the bottom layer is treated different in the png exporter than the inner layers (note to self: have to look into this).

Please have a look and confirm ;-)

Kind regards,

Bert Timmerman.

When I export this, I also see an error around the periphery where the escaping traces are. They appear to be broken.

Hi Chad,

Probably the contour of the BGA package ElementLine is breaking the escape traces.

Kind regards,
