Bug Description

Linux Distro I'm running: Foresight Linux 1.4.2

Avant Version:
[ddevine@lostwork ~]$ conary q avant-window-navigator
avant-window-navigator=bzr_131-1-1

Compiz Version:
[ddevine@lostwork ~]$ conary q compiz
compiz=0.3.6-2-2

It's important to note that this was working fine for about a day before this happened. Nothing in the system was changed to cause this...no updates, no xorg alterations, no changes in compiz/awn. This black bar appears over the top of all windows.

woah thats weird. Does it still occur? It seems compiz is getting abit confused.

Yes, it still occurs.

I'm going to attempt to bump all versions of software up one notch to find out if things fix themselves. If so, I'll rollback to the previous version and attempt to troubleshoot it if necessary :)

Something similar happened here after upgrading to Intrepid.

But in my issue, Black bar appears in top center (exactly like the image) and icons appear in top left.

Can you test with the last upstream build and see if you still have the bug ? (Instruction to install are available : http://wiki.awn-project.org/Installation:Ubuntu#PPA)

This should get fixed in AWN 0.4 as the entire panel is in one window.
