Bug Description

Pressing ctrl during boot and choosing "boot from first hard disk" fails. This is similar to bug 1743031 that I filed for ubiquity.

I don't understand. Are you saying that the installed system has grub configured incorrectly?

If I allow the system to boot from the hard drive, with no disk in, then it boots just fine, so grub must be configured correctly.

The scenario in both bugs is when I boot from the install ISO, server or live server, and select the menu option "Boot from first hard disk". This always fails.

Ah right. So probably isolinux on the cd is misconfigured. The boot from
first hard disk option apparently just does "localboot 0x80" whatever that
means...
