Bug Description

In 3.0.0:

I haven't seen this problem on any other screens, but on the patron Messages screen neither one of the grids will save my column configuration changes.

Perhaps the fact that there are two grids on one page is causing problems?

Confirmed. In both cases, the grids need to have a persist-key attribute added.

Also see bug 1721304, which I opened just now when I noticed that some of the columns didn't have friendly labels.
