Bug Description
Steps to reproduce:
1. Install Ubuntu 17.10.
2. Install gdebi-gtk package
3. Try to install deb-file (for example http://
4a. Gdebi GUI opens, clicked Install package, entered sudo password, window closes.
4b. In console it prints error messages:
$ gdebi-gtk ~/Downloads/
