Bug Description

Rename Files and Folders are not possible. When creating a new File, it's possible to write the new Text in an Entry but the File don't accept the changes, this behaviour exists since update 0.3.3

OP, can you confirm that pressing enter instead of focus out will save the name? Looks like a regression slipped in

yes, pressing enter renames the file or folder, just focus out not, thanks a lot for the quick help, anyway thanks for your engagement with elementary os, great work!!

This is due to an update to stop renaming ending when e.g. keyboard layout changes or the "locate cursor by pressing Ctrl" accessibility option is enabled. Both of these cause a temporary focus out. It may be possible to fix all issues by having a timout on the focus out and end renaming if it is not temporary.
