Bug Description

Currently there is no icon set for the GtkWindow of pantheon photos (I think Shotwell had a hardcoded pixbuf, yuck...).

This is needed/used by some window managers (like Xfce's xfwm4) to display application icons in the alt-tab dialog (and elsewhere). It's just a single LOC so a trivial fix:
