Bug Description
Steps to reproduce:
1) Add "Network status monitor" applet to the panel
2) It will use eth0 which is not available with modern kernels
3) Click on the "Network status monitor" icon, configuration dialog will appear
4) Select "ens33" as a network interface
Result: "Network status monitor" will start to monitor ens33 and it looks like it works fine.
Now logout/reboot.
Result: "Network status monitor" reverts to eth0.
