Bug Description
When I try to use the microphone to make recordings, the recorded sound is too "low". The recording barely captures the sound .... I shout for the recording, and when playing back I can barely listen to a whisper.
I have no problems with audio playback.
The mic, however, can be boosted via alsamixer on the command line. The in-gaim option doesn't make a difference on the GUI tool, but it does make a difference on the alsamixer, when I slide some of the entries up.
I'm running Ubuntu feisty 7.10, with a Toshiba R20 tablet pc.
