Bug Description

I was not be able select all Available HDD for adding (format and mount) to node.

Actual result:
- I try to mount/format HDD in Swiftstack UI (Public Controller mode)
- I select the 'All Swift Drives' checkbox
- Only one HDD becomes selected in 'Swift Drives' pane

Expected result:
- I try to mount/format HDD in Swiftstack UI (Public Controller mode)
- I select the 'All Swift Drives' checkbox
- All HDDs becomes selected in 'Swift Drives' pane

Moreover, there is issue specific for Firefox:
On step, where one HDD becomes selected (in 'Swift Drives' pane), the checkbox can suddenly become empty.
The expected behavior should look like: all HDDs are selected, and checkbox for specific HDDs doesn't become empty in random way.

The functionality of the 'All Swift Drives' will only check drives that have been formatted and mounted. This checkbox does not check drives that are 'Available' to be formatted and mounted - that is the purpose of the 'checked box icon' in your screenshot.

What version of firefox was used with the disappearing check box issue? I will report this to our team.

Overall, thank you for reporting the issue with the UI. However, this issue does not pertain to the plugin itself.

Note that we have not seen anything like this issue in OSX versions of Safari, Chrome or Firefox.

Trey,

This is not the first time the bug with the UI:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/fuel-plugins/+bug/1587820

We have reproduced this issues on several computers in different browsers.

I had this problem on firefox 47.0
Also, when we have a lot of disk (in our nodes more than 30 HDD) one by one they choose is not very convenient and time-consuming.

Stanislav,

What other browsers and versions were you able to reproduce the 'un-checking box' issue demonstrated in the video? Please also include the OS version for these browsers (as well as the OS version for when you recorded the video). As it is now, I'm not able to reproduce the problem on Firefox 47.0 for OSX.

If you upgraded to the latest Firefox, does this issue still occur?

Stanislav,

It sounds like you haven't discovered the "all managed drives" link at the top of the disk list. If you use that, you don't have to click on every single drive you want.

I checked the disk, it seems like sda has two partitions, /dev/sda1 and /dev/sda2. Could you try another disk that doesn't have partitions?

Hi Stanislav, I check the disk (sda) from this video (https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B39j5EBEH-ITdU82QThERkdKQjQ&usp=sharing).

The issue you mention is disk can't format or unable to select all drives?
