Bug Description
The week view resizes the day columns so that you always have only 3 on screen at a time. However, when using it on a desktop there is room enough for more (up to 5 easily).

may be you should have to "week views":
A "complete week" with 7 days displayed at same time
A "Work week" with 5 days (monday-friday, configurable by country). In this case, the time could be zoomed to display 9:00 to 18:00 (also configurable).
