Bug Description

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open gnome-calendar
2. Open calendar settings
3. Click on "Click to set up" on any of the online accounts.

Nothing happens. There is no error message or anything. The gear icon next to "Online accounts" header also does nothing.

I killed the calendar and ran it from command line. Clicking on any of these buttons outputs:

$ gnome-calendar

** (gnome-calendar:5108): WARNING **: Couldn't open settings: Failed to execute child process "gnome-control-center" (No such file or directory)

Package gnome-control-center is not installed. If it's required for calendar to work, it should be a dependency. At least there should be warning dialog that explains this.

Tested on 16.04 on Cinnamon desktop.

That bug is fixed if you install gnome-control-center and evolution.

sudo apt-get install gnome-control-center evolution

That's a workaround, but the bug is still valid.

The problem still persist in Ubuntu 17.10. Installing gnome-control-center and evolution didn't work for me.

When I try to add online calendar (Settings -> Add -> From Web) in "Add calendar" dialog, button "Add" stays disabled when I enter URL.
If I download the calendar and add it via "From file" method, everything works.

% sudo apt-get install gnome-control-center evolution

gnome-control-center is already the newest version (1:3.26.1-0ubuntu4).
evolution is already the newest version (3.26.1-1).

@Domagoj, your issue seems to be a different one and you should register a new bug (with details about the calendar/url you use)

@Sebastien thanks for the comment. I did a little more digging and it looks like I'm having only issues with some online calendars. New bug: #1732496 (fixed bug number).
