Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Is there any work-around known?

I stopped using the accounts section since, so i have not checked since
submission of the bug or any further Ubuntu regression updates . i have
installed 4.6 kernel since and a lot of pushed updates give me few days to
check it .

I've given up on KDE. Too many screen artifacts in menus and text (within
terminal). No update, video driver, or number of reboots would fix it. So
I'm back to Gnome / Unity. Plus, Gnome/Unity feels more Linux like.

Thank you Paul . I also went back to Ubuntu 16.04 with the 4.6 kernel and
its seems stable .

I don't see any reason for this bug to be private.

Only assign yourself to bugs just before starting working on them. Otherwise you'll be blocking other people from fixing them.

Trying to install package "kubuntu-desktop" (KDE alongside Unity) while in Unity in Ubuntu 16.04.
Then, it happens.
