Instructions for reproducing from the Irfanview forum post that the OR didn't bother to post here:

- Open 2 instances of IrfanView with 2 images.
- Select a detail of image 1 and copy it.
- Use "Paste special to bottom" to add the detail to image 2.
--> Result: the copied image detail is horizontally flipped.

Ulf: in the future, when filing a bug, please include all relevant information in the bug report. People should not have to go to an outside site to find out how to reproduce a problem.

I can confirm this, and it's still present in 1.9.18.

Especially, because I more assume, this is a IrfanView bug, I prioritized the discussion there, but unfortunately since today no one tried to compare the behaviour on native Windows.

Now I can confirm, that the problem is not reproducible on Windows, so the source of the problem seems to be Wine

Since Wine on Ububuntu was updated to V 3.0, I could retest with IrfanView 64 4.50.

Result: I don't see the bug anymore. Thanks for the work.
