Bug Description
This program works best if it starts on boot. But then you get a notification saying that it's activated at every boot. And in Gnome Shell the notification stays in the notification menu until you remove it. This is unnecessary and annoying.
I would appreciate it if you could turn off this notification on start up of the program, or at least make an option to turn it off.

Sounds like a good idea. I might implement an alternative way, have to do some experiments.
