Barcode 1.3.2 fails in OpenOffice 4.1.1 on Windows 8.1

The extension installs and is listed but not enabled in the extension manager.
At the end of installation and when attempting to enable the extension there is an error message from Open Office 4.1.1 saying: Binary URP bridge already disposed.
Next message says: (con.sun.star.lang.DisposedExeption) {{{Message = "Binary URP Bridge already disposed", Context = (com.sun.star.uno.XInterface) @5df6e38 }}}
It appears from other bug reports that a version 1.3.5 of Barcode has been released. I found that as a beta version in LibreOffice extensions. That gives the same error message after installation (message 2) except the last bit is @ae71a48.
