Bug Description
The managedfs filesystem source fails when the backing volume is a full disk (e.g. /dev/sda). If the backing volume is a full disk, then we create a partition on it and create the filesystem on that. This will affect physical disks attached to MAAS nodes, and the in-development Azure volume source.
