Bug Description
Clicking the Help button in the preferences dialog pulls up the system help viewer with the following message:
Page Not Found
The page ‘index’ was not found in the document ‘ghelp:kupfer’.
To post a comment you must log in.
I've just installed Kupfer on 14.04 (Trusty Tahr) as I'm playing with i3wm. The help dialog works fine under the standard unity install from what I can see.
To debug it further you could run it with the debug option:
$ kupfer --debug
Then launch the help preference, I get the following line:
launched ['/usr/bin/yelp', 'ghelp:kupfer'] kupfer. py-8876- lenovosg- yelp-0_ TIME17943789 pid: 8888
There's a dependency on Yelp which is installed on my system. AFAIK it is a core part of the GNOME desktop dependencies.
I guess the other option is that there's something odd about the index it's looking for.
