Google account needs re-authorization

Bug Description

I have set up a Google account in Online Accounts app. Every few weeks there is a notification that applications can no longer access it and it needs re-authorization. I don't know if this is by design.

When I set up the account, Ubuntu should remember it forever until I disable the account or change my credentials in Google.

It is bad usability that the account must be re-authorized and causes users not to use the feature. I understand this increases security, but mandatory re-authorization every few weeks is way too often from user's point of view.

I hope this is the correct package for the bug. Change to more suitable one if needed.

Hi Ville, thanks for reporting this bug. Can you please tell me what version of Ubuntu you are using?

Also, when you go to reauthorize the account, and you click on the "Grant authorization" button, what do you see? Could you please take a screenshot of that window and attach it to this bug report?

I'm using up to date 15.04. Reauthorization was successful, but that is not the point in this bug.

Hi Ville, thanks for the info. But I really need to see how that authorization screen looks like, to understand if it was coming from the Google website, or if it was a form generated by our software.
That would help me understand which application was triggering the error.
