Bookmark list unresponsive after CTRL+ w

Bug Description
After pressing CTRL+ w it is no longer possible to navigate using the bookmarks list.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Files and navigate to some folder other than Home, say Pictures for example.
2. Press CTRL + w (the shortcut for close). Should now be back at the Home folder.
3. Attempt to navigate to another folder using the bookmarks list, nothing happens.
Interesting to note that clicking on Connect to Server will open the dialog box and clicking on a drive or device will mount it.
