Subject: fails to start w/o config with bogus Xlib error messages

Package: mozilla-firefox
Version: 1.0.2-1
Severity: grave

Hello,

when I kill all mozilla-firefox and mozilla instanzes and wipe out the
.mozilla and .firefox directories, mozilla-firefox fails to start with
following message:

Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: XDM authorization key matches an existing client!

(firefox-bin:12546): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:

This makes no sense. With strace -f, I see multiple openings of the
.Xauthority file and only after a while it simply breaks.

When I run "host +" and start FF once, then it does work after that,
even with "host -".

Regards,
Eduard.

Downgrading to normal, this is workaroundable and doesn't occur for
everybody at anytime.
See upstream bug for a workaround.

Subject: mozilla-firefox: possible race condition between firefox and import wizard

Package: mozilla-firefox
Version: 1.0.2-3
Followup-For: Bug #301479

This may be a race condition between firefox and the import wizard, when
it's run for the first time.

I've found that simply running 'strace firefox' seems to change the timing
enough for the import wizard to appear. After that, running firefox
by itself appears to work.
