Bug Description

[enhancement] Add a client API function to disable/enable input resampling for any given surface.

I don't think there's much practical value in letting the client choose the resampling rate. They're just likely to get it wrong and that also wouldn't be compatible with any future adaptive resampling. Just ON/OFF is fine.

Also, it's probably about time to default to resampling=OFF. Because Qt 5.4 now does it's own:

Qt 5.4 is in vivid touch images at least. Not RTM yet.

Hmm, comment #1 might have been premature. Even if Qt is ready, other toolkits are probably not.

Won't Fix. We are going to remove input resampling instead (which first depends on client-side vsync landing).
