Binary package hint: compiz
workspace switcher applet
Gutsy
An item (say an image) dragged over to the workspace switcher doesn't switch to the new workspace.
Items in the switcher wont drag to another switcher workspace.
I know this is a workspace/viewport issue. but is there a viewport switch applet?
Ideally a mini Compiz Expo would look great.

"The workspace switcher applet assumes that we are using metacity-style workspaces, not compiz ones. As such, compiz hacks it to only have 1 workspace. This breaks a lot of setups and means certain combinations of workspaces, including more than one row."
