intel_crtc_wait_for_pending_flips correlate to GUI hang

Bug Description
About every 2 - 4 days, the UI hangs and I need to power cycle the system in order to return to usability. The mouse cursor can be moved, but only on the current monitor.
This has only happened since upgrading to 14.10. Hardware is a Lenovo W540.
