Bug Description

Currently, these keys cause switchboard to change navigation, such as going back to the main screen from an individual plug. However, this is undesirable, particularly because it makes using the arrow keys in certain text inputs inside plugs unusable.

I can confirm that the back button as a shortcut is extremely annoying. Any time you would need to hit the left arrow (such as moving the cursor in a text field) you're taken back to the home screen.

Well that's not entirely true, as in the case of the original bug description -- setting a new keyboard shortcut is NOT affected by this problem. Hitting left/right/backspace will NOT cause switchboard to go back.

The bug still stands for regular text input fields, it seems, though. I'm updating the bug details accordingly.

Now it seems like can enter my favorite shortcut for moving windows from one workspace to the next, but they don't work anymore. That is pretty annoying since I'm usually using them all the time.
