treat archives as folders

Bug Description

It would be very handy if clicking on an archive, would extract it and opening the extracted folder immediately.

Maybe it is enough when you click extract here, it extracts the folder and the extracted folder is opened immediately.

Instead of actally extracting it I think it should work like zip-files under MS Windows.

+1 For the way MS Windows Handles it. Open ZIP inside Files, review, then choose what to extract, then be default open the extracted folder (if applicable) with an option to not open it.

We've discussed this before and decided it would cause more problems than it would solve.
