Bug Description
Ubuntu release: Ubuntu 14.10
Wine: 1:1.6.2-0ubuntu6
GPU: Intel HD 4000+Nvidia GeForce 820M
Nvidia drivers: nvidia-331-updates
Expected behaviour: Using winecfg to set a virtual desktop the same size as your screen (say 1366x768) and then running a game one would expect the wine desktop to cover the entire screen.
What happens: Unity displaces the wine desktop down and to the right so you end up with the right and bottom of the desktop outside of the display. The size of this displacement is the same as the height of the top menu and the width of the bar. This seem to only affect games that are set to run fullscreen and not wine programs such as notepad.
This did not happen with wine 1.4 in 13.10 but did also happen with wine1.6 and wine.17 on 13.10. On 14.10 this problem exist with at least wine 1.6.
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
