Bug Description
This ppa contains a series packages for Kubuntu including kdev-python. However, according to the author (Sven Brauch), kdev-python has a compile-time switch to choose between supporting python2 or python3. Unfortunately, there is no package of kdev-python that includes the build for python3 and hence there is no debugger support etc. for python 3 available. It would be great if such a package could be added. Suggested name: kdev-python3. It is important that kdev-python and kdev-python3 are mutually exclusive, hence each needs a conflict w/ the other as it is currently not possible to have both at the same time.

Just saw that debian provides (only) the Python 3 version of the package: https:/ /packages. debian. org/jessie/ kdevelop- python
