Bug Description

With today’s utopic updates (2014-10-01), most of my keyboard shortcuts stopped working (e.g. Ctrl+Alt+T for terminal). Whenever I press one, I just get this message in ~/.cache/upstart/gnome-settings-daemon.log:

(gnome-settings-daemon:4303): GLib-GIO-WARNING **: Dropping signal AcceleratorActivated of type (uu) since the type from the expected interface is (uuu)

This looks like the reverse of bug 1217196 comment 38, which had the same message with (uu) and (uuu) swapped.

All we need to do is drop revert_new_brightness_widget.patch and revert-shelldbus-export-timestamps.patch from debian/patches, and depend on gnome-settings-daemon 3.10. Here’s a successfully tested patch.

(I can confirm that the new brightness widget works, too.)
