Bug Description
Hiya,
I do duplicity backups to a local NAS, and from that, duplicity to remote storage.
Now, the CPU on the NAS isn't very powerful, and since the first round of duplicity backup will already compress the files by default, I would like one or both of the following to be implemented:
1) Add an option for tar to skip compression
or
2) Make a more general set of options to control the behaviour of tar, e.g. setting compression level, setting compression type, omitting compression etc.
One possibility would be to implement 1), which should not be too difficult, and then work on 2) at a more leisurely pace.
Best regards,
Sune Mølgaard
