Bug Description

This is probably some new incarnation of bug #1112878. I see that utopic has syslinux 6.03~pre18 while trusty had 4.05 (same as precise).

1. Download http://fi.releases.ubuntu.com/14.04.1/ubuntu-14.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso
2. Use Ubuntu's live USB creator to write to an USB stick
3. Try the "test" mode (qemu) or boot your system into it.

I unfortunately have Ubuntu 14.10, for a few weeks (and I do not even why, for I simply accepted a proposed update, in which it was presented as a LTS version ).
It is is a nightmare for me.
A lot of tools that I used to use crash very often or simply do not work.

So I do have to go back to a stable version, but because of this bug, I can't.
Up to now I liked Ubuntu, but I now seriously think to try something more reliable.
I need to work, not to spend days on bugs.
