Bug Description

Working on a slow, transmission amount billed Internet connection from time to time (GPRS on a train), an option of having exaile to go to offline mode with everything trying to use the Internet connection is needed. Extra, unnecessary data is transferred with wikipages, album art, last.fm submission, plugin manager refresh etc)

This one should not be valid anymore since Exaile itself does not do any network access. Which means if you disable all relevant plugins, no network traffic will occur.

I'd just like to note that while enabling and disabling plugins CAN provide this function, doing so is decidedly cumbersome. A simple way to toggle all such requests on and off would be much easier for affected users. That said, given that core itself no longer makes such requests, and that there has been virtually no activity on this bug, I don't think its a significant enough issue to worry about. It's also probably possible (albeit cumbersome) to do this as a plugin if so desired.
