In /etc/ceilometer/ceilometer.conf os_auth_url option is not configured by default to use os_auth_url = http://localhost:5000/v2.0 will appear the following error:
ERROR ceilometer.central.manager [-] Skip interval_task because Keystone error: Authorization Failed: Unable to establish connection to http://localhost:5000/v2.0/tokens
TRACE ceilometer.agent ConnectionError: HTTPConnectionPool(host='localhost', port=5000): Max retries exceeded with url: /v2.0/tokens (Caused by <class 'socket.gaierror'>: [Errno -9] Address family for hostname not supported)
