Bug Description
Hi
New install of ubuntu 14.04, then as per https:/
alacarte 3.10.0-1ubuntu2
Dunno if this is a bug or a feature, but I've just spent 4 hours setting up a customised menu, and I'd love to disable the "Restore System Configuration" button.
I'm worried that when I look at it again 6 months from now, having forgotten, one stray click & I'm ruined.
So - is there some command line switch, or could I find somewhere in the python program to disable?
Or is there a directory I can back up. I've googled lots, and found lots of advice to change directories that don't exist. Seems the menu files could be anywhere.
regards Garry
You can go to usr/share/ alacarte/ Alacarte/ MainWindow. py button_ clicked( self, button):
self.editor. restoreToSystem ()
Comment out (put #'s in front of):
def on_restore_
Save and the "Restore System Configuration" button is rendered useless
