Bug Description

It is common practice to report network speeds in terms of bits/s and not bytes/s.

Would be nice to have this as the default (and perhaps the current method as an alternative in the preferences)

If such change would be done I would prefer if it's a configuration that could be changed rather than something hardcoded.

Hi Thomas,

that is supported as the function bitrate (instead of speed) in the version at ppa:~indicator-multiload/daily and should be available within a few minutes. Go to preferences, menu items and change "speed" to "bitrate" for the appropriate items. You can see all available functions/variables with a click on the help button.

I don't think so. I will try to get it into utopic, and it will appear in ppa:~indicator-multiload/stable after a while.

Cheers
