gscan2pdf no longer reads multiple pages on epson gt-s50

Bug Description

This was working on 13.04 until recently. I upgraded hoping that it might be fixed in 13.10, but is not. Tried to read a multipage document on Epson GT-S50. The program shows only the 1st page; the scanner read 2 pages and stopped.

I tested with Simple Scan and it worked. Then I tried with gscan2pdf again and it worked. :$ Problem existed on 2 computers; now working on same 2 computers. Issue must be ID 10T. Sorry. Pls close.
