Zotero smart-scope does not provide any result in the dash

When doing a query in the dash, and selecting as source the Zotero entry in the filter section, no result appears for any document from the Zotero library (standalone installation), nor Internet database. How is it supposed to work? Should it detect my local zotero library automatically? Does it need any configuration?

Furthermore, other scopes for reference lookup such as "scholar" does not provide any results either. Note online search is activated in Privacy settings.
