Bug Description

Release of Ubuntu: 13.10
Package version of awesome: 3.4.15-1

I have install Saucy gnome mix and installed awesome.
When I change NoDisplay=false to /usr/share/xsessions/awesome.desktop logging in to awesome works fine.

But if try to use awesome with gnome following the guides at:
http://awesome.naquadah.org/wiki/Quickly_Setting_up_Awesome_with_Gnome#Ubuntu_11.10
logging in to Awesome-gnome session only displays wallpaper and mouse but nothing works.

I have use this method in previous Ubuntu versions so I think there is some problem with new version.

I have also tried with lightdm + unity (With original mix installation) but it did not worked ether.
