Unity Textbox losing focus when pressing 'Alt Gr' to compose special characters

Bug Description

When pressing the 'Alt Gr' key in a textbox inside on a webpage causes the textbox to lose the focus (the 'blur' event is triggered)

It may be impossible in some cases to write special characters (like the arobase @) in the textbox.

The bug is happening with Firefox and Chrome.

For me it's system wide - I can't write Polish characters at all in the whole system. The only workaround - get into keyboard setting after every reboot and set compose key to right alt and then set it not to be right alt (this kinda resets it so it works).

This used to work correct in 13.04 for me but ocurred with update to 13.10.
This is really annoying, since I use guake a lot and can't write any commands using the | symbol anymore.

I confirm this strange behavior, which becomes enoying when using the terminal program guake.

I seamed to be gone for a while and came back today.

After playing around a while with compiz settings changing key combinations for HUD and DASH back and forth and disabling the HUD at all it's gone now.

I use Alt Key for the launcher because I still use a keyboard without Win/Super Keys.
Maybe this only/mostly affects people using Alt key for the launcher instead of Super?
