Bug Description
While trying to workaround bug #1227355 launching the ubuntu-ui-toolkit gallery from autopilot with the desktop file hint, we found that the gallery was not being shown on top because it was missing the Icon and Path parameters.
Also, when writing a temporary desktop file we wrote an empty new line at the begining. The parser didn't like this either.
According to greyback, the parser is too strict and it should allow desktop files without those parameters.
As a temporary workaround, I'm adding dummy parameters for the gallery app. Once you make the parser accept files without those parameters, please let me know so I can remove them.
