Bug Description
Windows 7, Inkscape 0.48.4, English
Make a document with a few layers. Make some of them hidden. Name one of them "yo".
Press Ctrl Shift L to bring up the Layers Dialog.
Click on a layer inside the Layers Dialog. Type "y": this will bring up a text box. At this point, Inkscape should be searching for a layer starting with the letter "y". Layer "yo" should be selected, but it won't be.
Press Backspace, then press "f". This will highlight the first hidden layer.
Press Backspace, then press "t". This will highlight the first visible layer.
Guess of cause of bug: Inkscape is searching the names in the Hidden/Visible column instead of the Layer Name column.
