Bug Description

Binary package hint: grub

I just installed Feisty from the Live CD. I have two hard drives, one on which I installed Ubuntu now (SATA), and another, where I have Windows (IDE). Now, after installing Ubuntu Feisty, GRUB apparently couldn't handle having two hard drives of different type, and so it mixed them up. In /boot/grub/menu.lst, it switched the first HDDs entry to (hd1,0) instead of (hd0,0) which is the correct entry, and vice versa for the Windows entry.

Simple to solve if you're familiar with GRUB, but Joe would probably be too intimidated by this.
