Bug Description

In IE9 the print view is not transferring over the Layer colors for multiday events. Chrome and FF get the layer colors as expected.

Hi Nat. I went to:

...calendar view, month mode, and IE9 print preview showed me the color for the layer.

Here's what the actual print out looks like in IE9. You can see it's really tiny and the colors for multi-day events doesn't really work. Though single day events do seem to work.

Finally, here's what print preview looks like in Chrome. The colors are correct for multi-day events and the print out takes up more of the page in the landscape view.

This screenshot shows that the there are two events on the 17th with a green color for the title (the color I assigned for that layer.) I'm thus having a hard time recreating the title of this bug. :)

If you look at the print out in IE9 (https://launchpadlibrarian.net/148013978/IE9%20print%20out.JPG), you can see the problem with multi-day events - there's no color. Single day events look OK.

Ahh, the ticket didn't mention multiday. I knew at the time of fixing the multiday print bug that I was forcing everything to be a light gray. I'm not completely sure I can make this work but I can give it a try.

In addition to fixing the multiday colors on IE9 print preview, try to make the corners rounded on the printout.

OK here's the way print preview looks for me in IE9 at https://karldev.gocept.com/calendar-layer-colors-1206223/osf/communities/default/calendar/month.html. The preview just shows the actual screen view, rather than a preview of the area that prints. Chrome works correctly. What happens when you look at print preview in IE9? Does the same thing happen?

In IE9 multi-day and full day events still print in grey, not the color associated with that layer. Chrome looks OK (though still with the issue that slightly cuts off the right margin).

Nat, as a note, IE9 doesn't give rounded corners in non-print-view in production. So I think it is right that it not have rounded corners in print view either.

I think that means that the remaining issue on this ticket is to try and get layer colors in color, in print view, on IE9.
