Most genres dissappear when editing the genre of a song

Bug Description

This is in column view. Steps:

1) Select genre, artist, or album

2) select song and edit its genre

3) only genres that were in the list of songs (lower half of noise) are in the genres column

It's normal, Noise only show you genres that are on your library.

For example it doesn't make sense to show a Classical genre if you don't even have a classical track…

No, you didn't understand exactly. So I select an artist. That artist has tracks in, say, the "R & B" and "Punk Rock" genres. My entire library might have two dozen genres, but this artist only has two. I then edit the genres of this artist and change them all to "R & B". After I save the edits, the "Genres" column only shows the "R & B" genre. It only shows one genre. My library has two dozen genres.

I can now reproduce this consistently. Once the database is updated, only the songs that are in the list of songs below the columns are present in the columns. Basically, after this:

[_LOG_LEVEL_INFO 15:11:35.479243] DataBaseUpdater.vala:71: -- Starting database update.
[_LOG_LEVEL_INFO 15:11:35.481967] DataBaseUpdater.vala:83: -- Finished database update.

If I have one artist selected, I will only see one artist in the column (the upper column).
