In the quick list of parameter, "about Chromium" isn't translated into French
In Help, "Get help with using Chromium" isn't translated,
MAny other strings aren't...

I have reported that bug to Chromium Browser few months ago but they seems not to care. You can look their answer in the link below. Strange ways for a project said to might be the default browser of Ubuntu...

Some of untranslated strings are only Ubuntu related like every think about the webapps, this should be translated.

It is simple, take the string "get help with using chromium" which isn't translated in 25.0.1364.160-0ubuntu3. This string doesn't exist in any Launchpad translatable things here (https://translations.launchpad.net/chromium-browser/translations/+lang/fr). But this string is translated here (https://code.google.com/p/chromium/codesearch#chromium/src/chrome/app/resources/chromium_strings_fr.xtb&sq=package:chromium&type=cs)

So I ask myself, is the Chromium project of having translation done in Launchpad stile active... Also when you look at the answer the Chromium guy gave me (see link in first post), you ask yourself about maybe a problem only linked to Ubuntu since the strings are translated in Win..., problem of version of Chromium? This should be seen in daily ppa, if it is translated, someone can look at it?
For example the string "About Chromium" which isn't translated in the 25.0.1364.160-0ubuntu3 has been translated since 2010 in Launchpad... (https://translations.launchpad.net/chromium-browser/translations/+pots/chromium-strings/fr/2/+translate)

I don't know if we have found the reason yet, I think we may be far from it
