Can't set root folder in file manager

Bug Description
In file manager extension it shows every folder in home directory and I want to set the root folder to current project for example

In GEdit's folder browser you can do this by double clicking a folder, but that makes things a little more complicated because then you need to be able to navigate out of that folder.
Sublime Text allows you to "Open folder..." as well as a file, doing so opens a new window where the folder tree is populated from that root folder which is a particularly neat way of handling this.
