Bug Description
in Ubuntu 13.04 I tried to install maven from Ubuntu Software Center. This is a very important tool for java developer. Installing this software the system check an error abount package integrity.
The Ubuntu Software Center try to repair the problem, but this is the output:
Unpacking libwagon2-java (from .../libwagon2-
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/
trying to overwrite '/usr/share/
dpkg-deb: error: subprocess paste was killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Errors were encountered while processing:
/var/cache/
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of maven:
maven depends on libwagon2-java (>= 2.2-2); however:
Package libwagon2-java is not installed.
dpkg: error processing maven (--configure):
dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Any suggestions????
Maven version: 3.0.4-3
libwagon2-java version: 2.2-3+nmu1 (but not installed for the problems reported above).
The package maven2 is more descriptive. The bug affect this tool, libwagon is only an utility.
