and I receive the same segfault when attempting to use a mp3 instead of a wav.

Based on that link others have confirmed this is a bug as far as i know.

after downloading 4.2.2 source and compiling it I realized that it says it only supports wav files, so I converted the mp3 to a wav file and am now getting this error

ERROR: m_options: wrong argument: "./mywave.wav"
