Bug Description
Stellarium 0.12.0
XP SP3
Intel integrated graphics, Nvidia discrete, AMD/ATI integrated & discrete.. Old and new alike.
Safe mode & standard mode
I can set the Light Pollution Scale to, say, a value of 2.
Save my settings.
Exit
Then restart Stellarium.
At this point it appears the atmosphere haze and fog are a little brighter than they should be. And going back into the Sky & Viewing Options confirms the setting is indeed at 2. The config file also says "init_bortle_scale = 2".
But in order to actually achieve a setting of 2 I need to go back into Sky & Viewing Options and toggle the setting up or down. Only then does it render the fog and atmosphere haze (intensity and opaqueness) correctly.

Also, if I save the setting as 9, exit, and restart the program - The sky returns to a dark setting of 3, the haze and atmosphere are about right, but there are very few stars.
