Bortle light pollution scale setting not working

Bug Description

Stellarium 0.12.0
XP SP3
Intel integrated graphics, Nvidia discrete, AMD/ATI integrated & discrete.. Old and new alike.
Safe mode & standard mode

I can set the Light Pollution Scale to, say, a value of 2.
Save my settings.
Exit
Then restart Stellarium.

At this point it appears the atmosphere haze and fog are a little brighter than they should be. And going back into the Sky & Viewing Options confirms the setting is indeed at 2. The config file also says "init_bortle_scale = 2".

But in order to actually achieve a setting of 2 I need to go back into Sky & Viewing Options and toggle the setting up or down. Only then does it render the fog and atmosphere haze (intensity and opaqueness) correctly.

Also, if I save the setting as 9, exit, and restart the program - The sky returns to a dark setting of 3, the haze and atmosphere are about right, but there are very few stars.

Thanks!

For those of you affected by this bug in 0.12.0 I believe I have a temporary workaround. In the config.ini file there are 2 sections you need to look at . [landscape] and [stars]. If you want your Light Pollution value set at 2, then you need to be sure the following value is present in both sections like so.

[landscape]
init_bortle_scale = 2

[stars]
init_bortle_scale = 2

That's it. Stellarium will now start up and render the sky correctly.

Other notes:
It seems, right now, that the entry under [landscape] is initially missing and doesn't get updated when put there by you. Adding in that value should allow Stellarium to start-up with the Light Pollution setting of your choice.

Keep in mind that changing the Light Pollution setting & saving it from within Stellarium updates [stars], but not [landscape]. Therefore you must manually add/edit it yourself..

I just edited both my Bortle Scale settings to 2. You can pick values from 1 to 9. Since this is a load/save problem it won't affect any light pollution difference demonstrations. You can adjust the setting within the program and see the desired effect. It just doesn't save settings correctly and defaults to 3.

Editing the config.ini file will let the settings stay sticky, but only [stars] are updated by the program. [landscapes] must be done manually.
